1 600 000 000

maximally recycled

PET material degrades in each loop of its recycling and is usually mixed with virgin material to achieve suitable processing and recycling results. PET recycled in this way is slightly less transparent and slightly less durable. PET can only be recycled 2 to 3 times into new beverage bottles, the remainder is used in other industries that are less concerned about quality.

SECOND PROBLEM

Waste on sugarcane industry

50% bagasse

unitilized after sugar extraction

Sugar cane also unnoticed global problem. There are mountains of trash (50%) after sugar production and even. The transformation method (with a brevet) is unique and use less than 3 composant. Every composant is free to PLA, petroleum
It’s important to justify that the material. Make any competition to the food industry (because is an exedentary industry (India produces 35% too much sugarcane)The transformation method (with a brevet) is unique and use less than 3 composant.

SOLUTION

Produce containers from bagasse

Summarize

Valorize more the Swiss biomass, integrate in contenants, create an special reusable cup with this biomass.

Our long-term goals various environmental projects, better waste management, improving home composting

Tell that we use sugar cane for production, and its bio.
It’s important to justify that the material not:
1. make any competition to the food industry (because is an exedentary industry (India produces 35% too much sugarcane)
2. dont make trouble in the biodiversity (because culture is already here, and it’s not Bresilian sugarcane (that burn the Amazon to put sugarcane field)

Weight reduction of a product is an easy way to reduce the amount of plastic used in your packaging and therefore, reduce the environmental impact but a balance must be achieved to retain the properties and resilience of the packaging. Particularly important for products running on an automatic closing line.

Contenant

Contenant

Sturdy, versatile and offering a wide range of applications, recycled HDPE is a great alternative to its petrol based version for non-food related use as today it is not available with food grade certification. A big advantage is that the colour does not affect the recyclability, as long as the colour is detectable.

Bottle

From the classic Alpha Sirop bottle to the widely used Petpacker, the range of packaging in recycled PET available at Pont has been widely extended. Although selecting a transparent PET product is highly recommended for optimising the recycling process, we can supply these items in any colour of your choice (some based on MOQ’s).

Cap

An eco-friendly option as it is entirely recyclable within the actual sorting/recycling process and it comes from renewable resources which do not affect food production. Bio-based HDPE offers great performance and is ideal when used with a hinge guard cap. Pont can offer a wide variety of packaging solutions in this material.
